Jan Tschichold Museum Exhibit
Objective:
Select a prominent designer from the 1930s to the present and delve into their life, artistic evolution, and lasting influence. Through a detailed analysis, reveal the connections between the artist, their influences, and the legacy they left for future creatives.
Deliverables:
 • A visual presentation inspired by the artist’s style, highlighting their unique design contributions.
 • Integration of images showcasing the artist’s work, influences, and those they inspired.
 • A comprehensive written analysis on the artist’s background, life, and style, contained within the visual format.
 • A bibliography with six or more authoritative sources, included within the visual format.
Inspiration: Tschichold's Work
After considering several designers, I chose Jan Tschichold for his profound influence on typographic design and book layout. Tschichold’s iconic poster designs inspired the piece's visual style, guiding both the layout and design elements.

Process:
Through extensive research, I developed a written narrative on Tschichold’s life and stylistic contributions. The project faced logistical hurdles, such as securing an appropriate exhibit space and sourcing quality materials on a limited budget. After exploring multiple options I collaborated with local two printers to ensure the project’s success. 
Final Solution:
This exhibit presents a cohesive narrative on Jan Tschichold’s life, work, and enduring influence. The 3,000-word analysis explores his stylistic evolution, key mentors, and the impact of his work on future generations. The installation includes selected works, images of his influences, and visuals of artists he inspired, offering a layered understanding of Tschichold’s legacy in graphic design.
